PopUp Smiles team members abide by an unrivaled respiratory protocol, utilizing appropriate PPE sanitary equipment for each treatment to protect our patients and team. Rest assured you’ll be in trusted (and sanitized!) hands.
Our Teams meet at least monthly to review the latest infection control guidelines and train regularly on infection control protocols.

Air Filtration: We utilize air filtration systems that HEPA, Merc 13 and/or Medify Medical Grade Air Filtration units at each of our pop-up locations.
Aerosol Reduction Adjuncts: Our teams have been provided with adjuncts to help reduce aerosols which include, but are not limited to, specialized rubber damns, brush heads, and other systems including Isolite and Mr. Thirsty.
Our patients are also asked to complete a pre and post-procedural rinse with irritants that are effective against Covid.

PopUp Smiles follows a rigorous and comprehensive Covid prevention plan that includes screening all employees, patients, and visitors prior to and upon arrival as well as following universal precautions.
Please note that PopUp smiles has maintained a healthy and Covid-free environment for employees and patients alike. We have had no confirmed cases of Covid transmission and this holds true for dentistry practices, nationwide. We have policies in place to continue to take actions based on current CDC, OSHA, and state guidelines
In addition to using disposables on each patient, our teams actively and thoroughly sanitize all of our rooms, as well as walls, handles, and other high-touch areas, frequently with agents that have been found to be effective against Covid-19. All reusable equipment is thoroughly sterilized according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Sanitation
All patients are sent a pre-screening questionnaire before arriving for their appointment. Upon arrival, pre-screening responses are confirmed, and patients have their temperature checked before proceeding into the procedure room.
